WEST SUBURBAN CREATIVE ARTS COUNCIL OVERVIEW
The West Suburban Creative Arts Council (WSCAC) was founded in 1978 as a
non-profit organization for the purpose of promoting the arts and sciences in both
public and private schools of Massachusetts. It is comprised of volunteers from
both the public and private sector who sponsor in-school enrichment programs in
the arts and sciences at their respective schools. WSCAC members meet three
times per year to share information and ideas regarding school enrichment
presenters.
The WSCAC board and its members are passionate promoters of arts
enrichment programs and believe that these programs are an important part of a
student’s intellectual growth and creativity. In an addition to promoting arts-for-arts
sake its members seek to promote programs that enhance curricula.
